Zhongxing Electronics Co., Ltd. has laid down an explicit rule: for suppliers confirmed to enter the new supplier qualification procedure, the Procurement Department shall verify whether the materials supplied by such suppliers contain tantalum, tin, tungsten or gold. If any of these minerals are present, the suppliers shall not source such minerals, either directly or indirectly, from armed groups in the Republic of the Congo or its neighboring countries. Failure to comply shall result in immediate disqualification of the supplier from the qualification process.
